FAQ

Are your incenses 100% natural?
Yes. We only use natural incense powder combined with traditional nanmu (nanmu) or elm bark binder. No synthetic fragrances, no chemical additives, no artificial colors.
How long does each stick burn?
Burn time varies by scent: Agarwood ~30 min, Sandalwood ~35 min, Cedar ~25 min, Mugwort ~25 min. Each box contains 25-30 sticks depending on the type.
How should I store my incense?
Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Properly stored, natural incense can last 3-5 years and high-quality agarwood and sandalwood actually improve with age.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship to the United States, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom. Free shipping on orders over $50 within the US. International shipping rates are calculated at checkout.
How long does shipping take?
US orders typically arrive within 7-15 business days. International orders may take 10-20 business days depending on customs processing.
Can I return or exchange?
Due to the nature of our products, we cannot accept returns of opened incense for hygiene reasons. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days and we'll make it right.
What's the difference between Chinese and Japanese incense?
Chinese incense has a longer recorded history, dating back to the Han Dynasty (206 BCE). During the Song Dynasty (960-1279), Chinese scholars elevated incense to an art form. Japanese incense traditions were largely preserved from Song techniques. The main difference is in blending philosophy and cultural context — ours is rooted in Chinese literature, medicine, and scholarly tradition.
